AC/DC Motors: We boast one of the nation's largest inventory of new motors and hard-to-find foreign parts. In stock are thousands of new motors including AC and DC models from General Electric, Fasco, Yaskawa, A.O. Smith, Marathon, Antriebstechnik Faurndau and many others. These motors ranging from small fan motors to IEC Metric European motors up to several thousand horsepower. Controls: We provide equipment to control temperature-humidity, air-water and steam-flow in small, medium and large commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools and offices. Blower Wheels: Blower Wheels are centrifugal fans. As with any action, the speed is the greatest at the outmost portion of the device, in this case, the wheel's outside diameter. The fins may be slanted in the direction of the air flow, but this is not always the case. If the motor and wheel are not together, it will be necessary to determine on which side the motor mounts. Pulleys: Sheaves and Pulleys are available in single and multiple groove, fixed and adjustable, fine-grained cast iron and statically balanced.
Pumps: Iron and bronze booster pumps feature oil lubricated sleeve bearings, a carbon/ceramic seal and a noise dampening spring coupler. Booster pump motors are designed specifically for quiet operation and are built with thermal protection and drip-proof construction. The motors are non-over-loading at any point on the pump curve. Chemicals, Lubricants and Penetrants: We offer a full line of lubricants, penetrants and specialty chemical products. Lubricants and penetrants stop squeaking and displace moisture. They also help prevent corrosion and break down effects of corrosion that may already exist. Accessories: We offer a wide variety of accessories ranging from wire nuts to OEM adapter kits.
Gearmotors: Dreisilker stocks gearmotors from Leeson that lead the way for dependability and versatility. Available in AC or DC configurations. Blowers: Centrifugal blowers are almost always bought "off the shelf" as low-pressure commercial blowers intended for ventilation systems. These blowers are usually made of sheet metal and should be distinguished from high-pressure centrifugals with cast metal cases. They disperse an air pattern that is wide and uniform to ventilate, cool or exhaust.
Fan Blades: The simplest form of axial fans consists of a propeller, usually with three to five aluminum blades mounted in a venturi. Foreign Motors & Parts: Dreisilker offers replacement parts for foreign commutator motors and brakes. IEC Motors: IEC frame motors operate the same as NEMA frame motors but have metric dimensions and are therefore not mechanically interchangeable. IEC frame motors are built to European standards and can be B14 flange mounted, B5 flange mounted, or base mounted with or without a flange. To determine the correct IEC frame motor you will need to know type (frame size), rpm, kw or hp rating, voltage, mounting type, and starting method (wye/delta or across-the-line).
